Review of REI Flexlite Chair

So far my wife and I have taken our REI Flexlite Chairs on a short backpacking trip, to a concert with both easily fitting in my backpack, and on our kayak for beach chilling and they’ve worked out great for us! I wanted something for us didn’t feel like a minimalists bare bones solution nor a clunky and heavy throne in nature, but somewhere in between: light but comfortable. I’m happy with the compromise that REI has put out with these chairs. It’s definitely a luxury extra on backpacking trips that adds some weight, but on 1 night trips out it’s a worthy carry for a comfy camp. Being able to have it light enough for me to consider that and also comfortable and sturdy enough to have it work for car camping and beach reading days is sweet. A nice little extra detail is the mini drink holder on the side. It works great for the basic stuff like 12-16oz cans & bottles, but much wider would stretch it too far. Got a few more photos and a quick video of the fold-up below; enjoy!
